  • The Department of Labor's Veterans' Employment and Training Service has announced that 22 grants, totaling
    more than $9 million, are being awarded nationwide to provide thousands of veterans with green jobs training.

  • Department of Veterans' Affairs (VA) has announced a new telephone hotline to provide emergency support
    and resources to homeless veterans. The hotline of the new National Call Center for Homeless Veterans is 1-877-

  • Inter City Services will be opening a facility in Berkeley, CA by September 2010 dedicated to veterans. They have
    collaborated numerous programs to fund quality vocational training and numerous resources. For more information,
